The main construction contents include non-human primate model animal breeding center and Bama miniature pig breeding center.

• Bama Miniature Pig Breeding Center
It mainly raises and breeds experimental animals of Bama miniature pigs, with a construction scale of 3000. Give full play to the characteristics of animal resources of Guangxi's superior varieties, and help Bama miniature pigs to be more widely used in the field of medical research.
Guangxi Huaren Ji Ying Biotechnology Co., Ltd. is affiliated to Guangxi Huaren Medical Technology Group Co., Ltd. It is a group subsidiary with the production and use of experimental animals as its core business, referred to as "Huaren Animal Center". It is located in Building 3, Phase II, Big Data Industrial Park, No.9 Haihui Road, Nanning Area, China (Guangxi) Pilot Free Trade Zone. Relying on the advantages of local non-human primate experimental animal resources in Guangxi, the company forms an integrated biomedical research and development service platform by integrating high-quality non-human primate resources, and takes the research and development of non-human primate models of human diseases as its core business. At the same time, it carries out technical services such as pharmacodynamic tests, pharmacokinetic tests, non-GLP toxicological safety evaluation, transformation of medical technology achievements and medical technology training.
The center has a strong technical force, and the director of the center has been working for more than 20 years. He is mainly committed to the research of non-human primate models of human diseases and pharmacological effects. He has rich experience in primate experiments, project management and quality management. The members of the technical team have more than 3 years of experience in non-human primate experimental animals or medicine and veterinary medicine, and have rich project experience in cynomolgus monkey nervous system and metabolic bone diseases, as well as national and autonomous region-level project undertaking experience. The center currently has 2 senior R & D personnel with a doctor's degree or above, 10 personnel with a master's degree, and is equipped with national practicing veterinarians, laboratory animal technicians, project management, quality management and other professional and technical personnel. Animal experiment operation and animal breeding personnel have been trained in standard professional technology, quality management and relevant laws and regulations, and have the ability to correctly operate various animal experiments and skillfully use the laboratory instruments and equipment. The center actively explores the welfare and experimental technology of non-human primate experimental animals, and has obtained 4 innovative practical patents and 1 invention patent in 2023. The center has conducted in-depth research and development cooperation with Xiamen University, Guangxi University, Guangxi Academy of Sciences, Wenzhou Medical University, Qingdao University and other scientific research cooperation units in the protection and application of non-human primate experimental animal resources; it has established long-term and stable cooperative relations with Guangxi International Zhuang Medical Hospital and Zhoukou traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital in basic medicine and disease animal model research.
The center has established about 2500m2 comprehensive experimental platform, including barrier environment animal laboratory, general environment animal laboratory, cell laboratory, nucleic acid protein laboratory, pathology laboratory, molecular laboratory, etc. Equipped with systematic equipment for animal model construction, such as behavior analysis system, microscopic imaging system, microinjection system, physiological function analysis, blood analysis system, etc.; able to construct spontaneous, drug-induced, surgical and gene-edited animal models of nervous system, cardiovascular system, digestive system, respiratory system, urogenital system, endocrine system, eye, ear, nose and throat, oral cavity, bone, skin and other system diseases, the model animals involved include ordinary experimental monkeys, experimental pigs, experimental dogs, tree shrews, rabbits, SPF rats, mice, nude mice, etc.
