The joint key laboratory of Huaren Medical and Guangxi Medical University has achieved fruitful results. Both sides held a meeting to discuss scientific research innovation and future development.

On April 9, Huaren Medical Technology Group and Guangxi Medical University jointly held a meeting to exchange achievements in the construction of the Guangxi characteristic biomedicine key laboratory. The two sides conducted in-depth exchanges on technological innovation, industry-academia-research transformation achievements, and talent cultivation since the establishment of the jointly built laboratory, and planned the cooperation direction for the next stage.

On April 9, Huaren Medical Technology Group and Guangxi University Medical College jointly held an exchange meeting on the construction achievements of the key laboratory of Guangxi characteristic biomedicine. The two sides conducted in-depth exchanges on technological innovation, achievements in industrial-academic-research transformation, and the effectiveness of talent cultivation since the establishment of the jointly built laboratory, and planned the direction of cooperation in the next stage.

At the symposium, Ji Feng, chairman of Huaren Medical, first introduced the main achievements produced by the key laboratory in recent years. These include undertaking and participating in government key research and development projects, publishing high-level papers in well-known journals, and applying for and authorizing multiple invention patents. These achievements have not only enhanced the academic influence of the laboratory and become a benchmark example of school-enterprise collaborative innovation, but also made important contributions to the development of related medical fields.

Luo Sulan, academic dean of Guangxi University Medical College, emphasized the laboratory's achievements in talent cultivation. Through scientific research projects jointly carried out by the jointly built laboratory, the traditional barriers between industry, academia, and research have been broken, and a group of outstanding research talents have been trained and grown, providing a large number of high-end talents for the biomedicine field.

As an important innovation platform in the field of biomedicine in Guangxi, since being identified as an autonomous region key laboratory in 2023, it has concentrated superior resources to carry out research, focusing on animal experiments, innovative drug research and development, cell and gene therapy, telomere detection cancer early screening, etc. In addition, the two sides have jointly established the Guangxi International Joint Laboratory of Biomedicine and the Pan-Beibu Gulf Characteristic Medicine Ministry of Education Engineering Research Center and other innovation platforms, aiming to promote the high-quality development of the emerging biomedicine industry and provide strong technical support for empowering the biomedicine industry.

In the future, the two sides will adhere to the principles of "equality and mutual benefit, complementary advantages, strengthening cooperation, and common development," expand research areas, jointly apply for major national projects, promote the transformation of scientific and technological achievements and high-quality talent cultivation, achieve breakthroughs in more "bottleneck" technologies, and jointly promote the development of the laboratory to a higher level.

After the meeting, Chairman Ji Feng and his party visited the experimental animal center, Guangxi University Brain and Intelligence Research Center, Guangxi Characteristic Biomedicine Key Laboratory, Guangxi International Joint Laboratory of Biomedicine, and the Pan-Beibu Gulf Characteristic Medicine Ministry of Education Engineering Research Center cultivation base, accompanied by college leaders.
