Wei Zhumei, Head of the Group's Animal Centre, was selected as an expert in Guangxi's standardisation expert pool
On 28 December 2023, Guangxi Standardization Association announced the list of the seventh batch of standardisation expert database of Guangxi Standardization Association, and Wei Zhumei, head of animal centre of Guangxi Huaren Medical Science and Technology Group and deputy general manager of Guangxi Huaren Jiying Biotechnology Co Ltd, was selected as an expert in non-human primate experimental animal research.


On 28 December 2023, Guangxi Standardization Association announced the list of the seventh batch of standardisation expert database of Guangxi Standardization Association, and Wei Zhumei, head of animal centre of Guangxi Huaren Medical Science and Technology Group and deputy general manager of Guangxi Huaren Jiying Biotechnology Co Ltd, was selected as an expert in non-human primate experimental animal research.

Guangxi standardisation expert database aims to give full play to the role of experts in various industries and fields, to build a high-end standardisation talent team that is both proficient in professional technology and familiar with standard rules, to give full play to the role of standardisation experts in decision-making and consulting, and to help deepen the reform of standardisation work in the whole region, and to promote the high-quality development of Guangxi's economy and society.

Wei Zhumei, Master of Veterinary Medicine from Yunnan Agricultural University, Intermediate Veterinary Technician, External Master's Degree Supervisor of Guangxi University College of Animal Science and Technology, Member of Chinese Society of Laboratory Animals, Member of Guangxi Non-Human Primate Laboratory Animal Association. Dedicated to human disease non-human primate animal models and pharmacological pharmacodynamics research work for more than 20 years, with rich experience in industry management. She has presided over and participated in 6 national major projects and local government major projects, published more than 15 articles and applied for 13 patents. Since joining Huaren Medical Technology Group, he has led the group's animal centre team to focus on pharmacodynamic, pharmacokinetic and early non-GLP safety evaluation studies, and to provide preclinical specialised research services and technical solutions. The core technical team now consists of 19 people, including 1 professor, 2 PhDs, 9 masters and 7 bachelors. The team has excellent technical capabilities in feeding and management of non-human primate experimental animals, implementation of animal experiments, disease modelling and basic biomedical research. As a strategic focus of the Group's pharmaceutical industry development layout, the Animal Centre provides key technology and innovative conditions to support the innovative development of China's biomedical field; and will continue to optimize the research conditions and environment to further expand the innovative power and vitality, and fully support the high-quality development of China's biomedical industry.
